UVTA DrinkSafe features:

• All wetted parts are plastic, thereby eliminating corrosion and fouling problems
• A safety switch turns off the power to the lamp prior to opening the unit
• A front indicator light provides visual observation of lamp operation
• LED indicators show wait, ready and replace lamp status
• Automatic shut down after three hours if the unit hasn't been used
• When starting up the unit automatically waits for 45 seconds to enable he UV lamp to reach full strength.

For an extra charge, the DrinkSafe can be fitted with an optional 0.5 micron carbon briquette filter to remove Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts.
