UVTA - Ultraviolet Technology of Australasia

The principal uses for the 52 Series is to disinfect:

  • Drinking water (with < 5 N.T.U turbidity, 5 HU units of colour)
  • Secondary treated effluent (of < 20 suspended solids, < 20 BOD, < 50% UVT quality)
  • Cooling tower pond water, thus controlling disease
  • Aquarium, fish hatchery and acquaculture water
  • Swimming, hydrotherapy and spa pool water
  • Process water

For disinfection of drinking water with < 5 NTU turbidity, 5 HU units of colour the maximum flow rate through one model 52L is 4.16 litres/sec.

Optional: For higher flow rates and UV dosage, ask for an "XUV" edition quotation

Advantages of using the UVTA units:

  • UV lamps not encased by any fragile, easily fouled quartz sleeves
  • Air cooling systems to maintain the optimum UV lamp skin temperature
  • Units are rugged
  • No short-circuiting
  • No wipers or scraping devices required
  • Ease of installation
